A simple crochet pattern that works into a pretty dish cloth that drapes beautifully and scrubs well.
I like to pair these with my handmade dish bars. I sell these soaps in pot online shop. You can find them here:

I also share a tutorial for making your own dish bar and you can find that here:

You can find the video tutorial for my dish cloth here, I also share where I source my yarn and what types I buy:

Here is the tutorial:
I use a 5.5 mm hook but you can use a 5 mm hook for a tighter stitch. I just like the drape the 5.5 mm hook makes in this cloth.
Chain 30
In the third chain from the hook, SC and 2 HDC, skip two chains, SC and 2 HDC, skip two chains and repeat until you’re left with three chains at the end. Skip two chains and and with one SC. You should have 9 shells of (SC 2 HDC).
Do not chain. Turn your work.
In the first stitch do that cluster of stitches (SC, 2 HDC), skip two stitches, (SC and 2 HDC), repeat until you’re again left with three stitches and do one SC crochet at the end. Do not chain. Simply turn and repeat until it’s evenly square or as long as you want it.
Make sure you’re working between each shell.
That’s it!
Enjoy making your own dish cloths!
